Use Case Changes

Industry wide changes regarding A2P 10DLC Use Case applications and FAQs

What fees have been added for Use Case registrations?

All US A2P 10DLC Use Case registrations will be subject to a manual vetting process and will be charged a one-time $15 Use Case verification fee at the time of registration including each re-submission of a previously rejected Use Case.

This is an industry-wide change to combat spam and fraud. This fee is only collected by Avochato without any mark-up and is passed directly to the wireless industry’s main A2P DCA who performs the manual vetting.

Is there any way to expedite the vetting process?

There is currently no way to expedite the vetting process and all new Use Cases across the industry will be vetted in the same manner.

What happens if my Use Case is rejected?

Use Cases can be rejected if you submit incomplete and incorrect information in your application. The $15 fee is non-refundable and a re-submission will cost another $15 fee. On top of that, a resubmission can take another 5 or more business days to review and be approved by our DCA. We highly suggest that you verify the information you include in your A2P 10DLC Use Case application to avoid rejection and unnecessary fees.

What happens if I re-submit a Use Case that was previously rejected?

Any re-submission of a previously rejected Use Case will be charged a $15 fee.

Can I still send messages during the vetting process or if my Use Case is rejected?

No. All messages will be blocked from being sent if it is not associated with an accepted use case.
