Avochato Chrome Extension Guide
Bring Avochato messaging anywhere on the web with this browser extension.
The Avochato Chrome Extension provides a seamless way to keep Avochato within reach without switching tabs. Whether you’re navigating your CRM, engaging with clients via email, or working internally, the extension side panel keeps your conversations accessible at all times.
You can even manage multiple conversations across inboxes with a tab of Avochato open on one side, and the Chrome extension open on the right!

How to Install
- Open the Avochato Chrome Extension listing.
- Click Add to Chrome and confirm the installation.
- Once installed, click on the Avochato icon in your browser toolbar to log in.

You’ll see a confirmation messages that Avochato for Chrome was added to your browser

After the extension is installed, click on the extensions icon, and pin the Avochato for Chrome extension to your chrome bar

Click the Avochato icon to open the side panel. Wait a few seconds and confirm that Avochato loads itself within the side bar (either directly into the inbox, or it will ask you to sign into your Avochato account).
Log into Avochato within the side panel and view the Avochato Inbox within the side panel.
How to Use
- Launch the Extension: Click the Avochato icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the extension.
- View and Reply to Messages: Stay connected with contacts and respond to messages instantly.
- Make and Accept Phone Calls: Talk to contacts and make calls from the extension directly.
- Start New Conversations: Initiate new text threads directly from the extension without opening the full Avochato web app.
- Manage Your Inbox: Organize conversations, assign chats, and add notes as needed.

Tips and Tricks
Multiple Conversations in One Window
- Manage multiple conversations at once by opening one conversation in the Chrome extension and another in Avochato’s web app.
Split browsing
- Drag the Avochato chrome extension over and view a split screen. The extension width can be adjusted.
One-Click New Conversations
- If you frequently start new SMS conversations, you can customize how new conversation details are pre-filled.
- Within the extension Options page, set your preferred Name and Phone fields to auto-populate new messages, saving you time and effort.
When to Use Avochato for Chrome
- If you primarily communicate one-on-one with customers via text messaging.
- If you want to keep your Avochato inbox accessible while browsing the web.
