Avochato Mobile App

Avochato is available for both iOS and Android.

The Avochato mobile app provides the same functionality as the desktop version. You can make and receive calls, send texts and broadcasts, receive messages (including MMS), answer live chats and much more.

You can download the Avochato iOS app on the AppStore and the Android app from the Google Play Store.

Permissions

Upon initial installation of the mobile app on your phone, you will be asked to allow permissions for Avochato to work correctly. Please allow all to have a seamless experience when using the app. These are normally asked when you first open the app after installation.

Mobile App Push Notifications

The notification settings enabled above only allow Avochato notifications to appear on your phone. The specific notifications you receive will depend on the preferences you configure within the Avochato app. Below are instructions on how to manage which notifications will be pushed to your mobile device:

1) Go to your profile by clicking your profile icon at the upper hand corner of your Avochato inbox and clicking “Edit Profile”

💡

These mobile push notification settings can be mixed and matched to fine tune your notification preferences. For example, you can have “send a push whenever inbound activity occurs in conversations assigned to me” and “only send pushes during office hours” so that you will only get a push notification for inbound activity for conversations you own only during office hours.

  • Send a push whenever inbound activity occurs in conversation assigned to me - as long as you are assigned as an owner of a conversation in Avochato, you will receive a notification on your phone when that conversation receives inbound activity such as SMS, MMS and calls
Notion image
  • Only send pushes while my status is “Available” - you will only receive notifications if your status is set to available. Note, statuses are available when you have the Auto-Assignment roster turned on.
Notion image
  • Send a push whenever inbound activity starts a new conversation - Avochato will send you a push if there is an incoming SMS/MMS, live chat or call that starts a whole new conversation. This is useful when you want to reply immediately to customers contacting you for the first time
Notion image
  • Send a push for any inbound activity owned by anyone on my team - this will send you a notification for every inbound activity except conversations which doesn’t have an assigned owner (Unassigned). Inboxes with high traffic might send countless notifications to your phone so only turn this on when necessary

  • Send a push to receive inbound calls via the mobile app - this allows Avochato to send an incoming call notification to your device when someone calls. This push notification gives you the option to answer or decline it.
