How to edit AvoAI User Permissions

Control how your team can access AvoAI’s features and settings

If you’ve already been added to the AvoAI Beta and still can’t create a bot nor enable Agent Assist, you might be lacking the user permissions to access these features.

To update your permissions (may need help from the account owner or manager), please click your profile icon at the upper right hand corner of Avochato and click “Manage Organization”.

In the “Manage Organization” view, click “Users” in the left hand panel. The page will update and a user list will show. Select the appropriate user from the list by clicking on their name. In the user’s permissions page, scroll down until you see “AvoAI Permissions” and the tick the checkbox for the needed AvoAI permissions.

AvoAI Permissions

  • Can use Agent Assist? - Allows the user to use AvoAI Agent Assist in the inbox. A purple wand icon will show at the upper right hand menu of a conversation. Learn more about Agent Assist here.

  • Can toggle Agent Assist? - Allows the user to turn on and off Agent Assist in the Automations tab

  • Can edit and toggle Build a Bot? - Allows the user to edit the bot’s settings as well as turn it on or off. Learn more on how to create your own bot here.
